The park's own bush camp, marketed as Matusadona Bush Camps, run all-inclusive with a guide, a cook and a host. It is small, solar-powered and unfenced, and guests are escorted to and from their tents after dark. It takes no children under 12. The park also mentions a green-season camp at Shenga Bay on the lakeshore; we could not confirm whether that still runs.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Matusadona National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.
- Park entryThe trust's conservation levy for an international adult.
- $30per person, per day
- VehicleForeign-registered car or 4x4, per day.
- $5per vehicle, per day
Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $195 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.
The ZimParks 2026 gazette gives $24 for an international adult, not $30. We use the trust's levy because that is what operators pass on in 2026. Confirm with reservations.matusadona@africanparks.org.
The full fee schedule for Matusadona National ParkRates at Jenje Bush Camp
No general rate published. The only published price is a fly-in special for Zimbabwe and SADC residents: 3 nights plus return flights Harare to Kanjedza for $1,455 per person, all inclusive, for 4 to 10 guests on exclusive use (WildZambezi, validity dates not stated). International guests should ask the trust.
All inclusive. The rate covers meals, drinks, activities and the transfers named below. Park fees are charged separately.
Every figure on this page is in US dollars.
Indicative rates read in September 2026 from each property's own website or rate sheet, and where noted from an agent or the VisitKariba directory. Watch the basis: lodges quote per person per night, houseboats per boat per night, and several Kariba town places per room or per unit. Park fees are extra almost everywhere, at $30 per international adult per day on the trust's levy, and houseboats add their own park and lake charges.
Questions about Jenje Bush Camp
Is Jenje Bush Camp good for families?
Not for young children. Jenje takes no children under 12, and the camp is small, unfenced and solar-powered, with a resident lion pride nearby, so guests are escorted to and from their tents after dark. It suits older children and adults rather than a family with toddlers.

The only published figure is a fly-in special for Zimbabwe and SADC residents: three nights plus return flights from Harare to Kanjedza for $1,455 per person, all inclusive, for four to ten guests on exclusive use. International guests should ask the trust directly, as no general rate is published.
When is Jenje Bush Camp open?
Jenje runs in the dry season, May to October, with a guide, cook and host included in the all-inclusive rate. The park also mentions a green-season camp at Shenga Bay on the lakeshore, but we could not confirm whether that still operates, so ask when you enquire.
